That Went Down Hill Fast

From the Update: "CLUB CLOSED — The Club at Runaway Bay was shut down yesterday by the Wise County Sheriff’s Office after owner Rick Mai was served with a lawsuit claiming he is five months behind on payments for the business. Mai has 10 days to pay a $1 million bond to retain ownership of The Club. In that time, the business will remain the property of the Wise County Sheriff’s Office and will remain closed. " All afternoon shift deputies are to report to the Back Nine.

I heard that inmates in the Wise County Jail were going to be caddies for the players at the Club til Mr. Mai comes up with the bond. I think this is a great idea and a way to generate additional income for the county. My question is, do we call the Sheriff's Office for tee times? What does everybody else think?

"If you loved their work on the EMS building, wait till you see what the commissioners can do with "The Club" A round of golf will cost about $2,500.00.

Runaway Bay is a very strange place. Sexual deviance, volunteer firefighters being raked over the coals by people that probably have never been in a fire fight, and police officers that instead of patrolling the neighborhoods at night are running up and down the higways looking for speeders.
