I saw today that Adidas is buying Reebok for $3.8 billion dollars.
That reminded me of high school. Back then, one of the coolest tennis shoes you could have were all leather Adidas Rod Laver's. They were priced at an insanely high $39.95. We also all believed it was just a matter of time until Nike would kill off Adidas.
