I Don't Think This Guy Has Looked Up "Impartial" Lately

But he has looked up "pandering" -- just look at that last sentence.

I think it's outstanding!

I hope Hon. John Fostel, and Hon. Melvin Cude follow his lead.

Just think, if you'd made the ballot, you could use this ideology to be a shoe in for DA!

Impartial and Pandering is Libtard speak for anything and everything not moral, family valued, "normal" or anti-freak show.
In other words, anything that does not detract from the Liberal agenda to destroy everything that challenges any conservative process.
Even doing something nice for a public servant, sad.

Welcome to the Police States of America.

I looked up 'whus whiney liberal'. It said 'see Barry Green'.

Agree. A person that assaults a police officer should not be bothered with things like jail time or being punished. They should be free to carry on with criminal ways, apparently.

Can't we just paly by the rules?

This blog is useless. Barry is a lawyer. He is paid to defend his client (read between the lines what that could entail). His attitude on this blog from a PRODUCTIVE member of society is disgusting. Sadly he represents the selfish and entitled. This society will have to reboot. Look for good people. Those that are selfless, helpful and productive. That minority does still exist

I'd hate to be the prosecutor in that Court. When the Judge eliminates all discretion you end up with bad cases on the jury docket.

In a parallel Texas justice vein, did you see the story out of Houston on the young lady who was a victim of a serial rapist? Had serious emotional damage because of the attack. It is convoluted, but the Cliff Notes version is she was thrown in jail for 30 days because LEO and criminal justice paper shufflers thought she was the raper, not the rapee when the original trial had a meltdown. Bizarre.

Man, there are a lot of people who read and comment on this blog that lack a fundamental understanding of the Constitution and the rights we are afforded under it.

@4:03

I don't think the constitution entitles one to a plea deal.
You are entitled to a trial before a judge or jury.

Please explain the constitutional rights that the judge is infringing on.

Most of the readers of this blog don't give a shit about a majority of the Constitution. All they are interested in is the 2nd Amendment. The rest of it is just liberal weenie garbage.

Oh...I don't know...maybe that whole due process thingie, meaning you are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

And amazingly, Barry still approves and posts your comments.

Think about that.

@5:21 You didn't answer the question. A plea deal involves giving up constitutional rights. So pay attention and answer the question.

@5:21
Is that you Sarah Palin?
Because you have about as much understanding of due process as her.
As the Law Hawk would say....DO Wheelies.

Must a graduate of the Ruth Bade Ginsberg Judiciary School.

All ten of the Bill of Rights are interdependent on each other. Eliminating one and the rest will soon go away.

You attack an officer or a first responder of any kind and you can be shot dead is the way it ought to be ! Wouldn't take many before the word got out !

Bear said...

@9:11 pm

That's is the problem. It should be that if you attack anyone, you could be shot dead. Why do LEO and first responders get special treatment. We are all Americans and have the same rights. When one group is held above (or below) the rest of us, we are not free anymore.

Anonymous said...

Why do cops get this special name of "first responder" to begin with? Is the title of Law Enforcement Officer or Peace Officer not good enough for them? Why do they need a special title above that? If being called a Peace Officer was good enough for Rook Ramsey and Phil Ryan, it should be good enough for these entitled, tax collecting, crybabies that we overpay today.

It's time to start pressing charges against people who call in to 911 with comments like "there's a guy with a gun and he's holding it on some guy in the park"...if there isn't and that is not the situation. Cops show up and it's highly likely they are wired tighter with those expectations that turn out to be unwarranted.
