Oh, Those Expressions

Rescue workers carry an injured fan from the stands at Turner Field during a baseball game between Atlanta Braves and New York Yankees, Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, in Atlanta. He didn't make it. Truly a significant emotional event for those who witnessed it. I am still trying to figure out your intent by titling this post as you did.

How many people have to die or be injured before baseball is shut down? Like guns and motorcycles, stadiums kill people.

Captain, the host of this blog offers an unfiltered glimpse into his stream-of-consciousness. Many of his observations are tired regurgitations of leftist mantra, while others simply reflect a complete lack of thought or common sense, as in the instant case.

He's a lot like Johnny in the Airplane! movie: While the other characters read the headlines about impending doom, Johnny is focused on the sale at Penney's.

Capt: who pisses in your post toasties? Clearly, the title is about the expressions of those in the pic who witnessed the fall. Life changing for those folks. Bet they had trouble sleeping last night.

Ace was a 23 yr season ticket holder and one of my good friends for longer than that. RIP my friend.

His intent was to mock us all

Anon at 12:58 - Evidently, the meaning of the title was much clearer to you than it was to me. Obviously,it clearly notes the expressions of the witnesses. An additional word or two might have clarified it for me.

BTW no one pissed in my Post Toasties. I happen to be a Kellogs man myself.

every event like this is a tragedy.... but I read a side note on BSPN that said this is the 3rd death in 8 years JUST at Turner Field.... that seems crazy to me!!! that's just one field!!! I guess when you mix alcohol at events like this, we are lucky there aren't more incidents, but 3 at one park in that short a time span seems VERY high!

I agree with Capt. Schmoe.
I read the title, looked at the expressions, then figured out the rest of the story on my own that he died.

What was the purpose of the title?

BASEBALL FANS LIVES MATTER

Well, did he at least do a jack-knife or something? Maybe a can-opener?
And for my next trick....

DF Ace (season ticket holder no-more)

Did he not land on people? How do these folks fall and never land ON somebody. I'd think the one being landed on would be severely injured. But no one ever talks about them.

Can't believe fools are still falling over the rails !!
