Oh, My!

Language warning.

(Source) - Santa Clara County officials on Tuesday released a video of a worker being blasted from a manhole by a steam explosion a year ago at the Valley Medical Center earthquake retrofit project, where the county is accusing the contractor of safety lapses and costly delays. The worker was shaken but walked away unhurt.

They knew they had a problem long before the event occurred. Sometimes you need to listen to that little voice.

He was still standing in the same spot after the blow off. He did not get blown out, just got wet.

You can see that it's not gone, but there why in fact could be. If someone is unhurt it's due to being unimpacted even if it's visually before it happened.

Note about videoing things with your phone held vertically. Close one eye, then place your hands to each side of your still-open eye. Beautiful view, right? THAT'S what you subject people to, when you video vertically! (Almost) NEVER video vertically! :-)
