The Beverly Hillbillies.

A show that catered to white America. Republicans. Tea Partiers. Heterosexuals. Non-people of color. People with no gender identity issues.

The show celebrated greed through its character Mr. Drysdale and promoted that fallacy that the American dream not only exists but can happen to the poorest among us.

The show was an abortion of good taste, and while I wish the best for the actress' family I cannot in good conscience endorse the content of her program.

Ya know, Flatt & Scruggs appeared a few times on The Beverly Hillbillies.

The gal who played Lester Flatt's wife, Joi Lansing, was one of the best looking broads of all time.

So 3:06, your logic suggests that any show without homosexuals or minorities is "an abortion of good taste." Based on this distorted premise, I suppose you believe that most of the network shows on now with their token homosexuals, serial adulterers, and all the various peoples of color would be classified as "masterpieces of good taste?" I would beg to differ.

You need to learn about mailbox money. Lot's of folks in Wise County, and many other counties in Texas, get a nice income from owning mineral rights for "Black Gold", "Texas T".
