Should be "Another Awesome Church". You should get some facts before being such a jerk. If you walked in there on Sunday morning you would see why we need another !
I refuse to go to a church unless the preacher swings out over the pulpit like the gals at San Francisco Steak House. Now THAT would be exciting and awesome!
The problem with religion is too many churches and denominations. So instead of being the body of Christ we become the dysfunctional blended family of Christ. Which is better than nothing but it splits and fractures resources and makes church less about God and more about entertainment.
Not my kind of church or worship. Not even close. Seems like everything today has to be a PARTY or no one goes. We don't go to church to be entertained, we go there to worship reverently.
Churches are popping up as God intended. Bring as many to the Lord as you can. God expects us to fellowship with others. The bible is the book our instruction for life. Bless all your unbelieving hearts.
8:51 - I think they ARE social clubs. Folks are condemned to hell for going to a bar - so why not give congregations the "feeling" of a nightclub. Loud guitars, glitzy lights - Reverent worship? ABSOLUTELY NOT!.......great place for music wannabes to holler and twiddle an instrument.
While the music and outlandish services are not my cup of tea, I much prefer my kids and grand kids attend these churches than none at all. They still get the message. I just prefer to worship in a more dignified way.
So do I 11:08 - when we look at the life of Jesus Christ - it was NOT about worship. He preached love and witness to others.
That is forgotten a lot in today's hoopte do worship. The message is "fun and entertainment" - come get on the stage and rock and roll brother. Wear them holey jeans and come on down.
The sooner folks realize that all religion is a sham, the sooner those same folks will find how great it is to spend ALL day Sunday with family, at home.

You are right kind Sir. I would guess with Its leadership that it might be the next Megachurch in Wise County.
Is this the one that features that guy who was supposedly once a member of Black Sabbath?
who owns that one? I have always been amazed that every rich family in Decatur has built their own church. classic
I guess that's so people can go on worshipping them after they have croaked
Jeff Fenholt? The one who claims Sharon Osbounes father hired him?
9:17 - Facts? Here's a fact for you: There is no god. The bible, the koran, all that crap.....fairy tales.
You can never have too many churches as long as they are preaching the truth and the gospel.
This is not reverent worship!
Isn't the Bridgeport Stage owned by the city? Church/State conflict anyone?

Rock and roll is a fst track to hello
Hang on 9:17, calling someone a jerk for not referring to a Church as "awesome"? Mean spirited negativity (name calling) is not the spirit of Christ.

All these "Fellowship" churches are popping up all over the place. Are they just social clubs?

Hypo-Christians.
Jesus Loves me this I know for my Check Book tells me so

There is no god.
I think it is sad that the Bridgeport Stage will be used for a church. "Stage" - well that says it all for a church today.
They are modern though - husband/wife duo for preachers. The Olsteens got it started. Bet Joel has enough money now to get his teeth straightened.
Jesus only knew 3 chords.
Wow! You all are such good Christians you can judge. Hmmmm.
2:02 Have you ever heard of a tent service? A bunch of people have been brought to Christ under canvas. Should a stage be much different?
God does not exist.
End of discussion.
6:34, you do not exist!
got it now?
9:55, very interesting point you made. Thanks for the wisdom.
2:02 - that is about the most insane comment ever. An evangelist doesn't need a tent OR a stage to witness for Christ.
Ever heard of Mother Teresa of Calcutta?
Stop stealing my act!
DF Jonas Nightengale
Mother Teresa was not an evangelist. She was a servant of the lord. Get your nomenclature correct.
Oh come on 8:45 - an evangelist IS a servant of the Lord.
Picky.
