Park Cities Kid Kills A Pig

Reed Graff is a second-grader at Armstrong Elementary in Highland Park, and presumably enjoys a good juice box, some down time with a video game, and the finest of cookies. He also likes shooting feral hogs with guns as big as him.

There's nothing particularly remarkable about this video other than the unusual bags under the kid's eyes and his gun safety habit of sticking his head in front of the the barrel.

Grosses me out; but, nothing wrong with a young boy learning to shoot. He does need to learn a little more about gun safety.

Isn't that an assault weapon he's holding? Fold the stock and it turns into a fully automatic machine gun. That child is being abused and his parents should be arrested.

Be a good teaching moment to show him the video explaining how to handle a gun, and the dangers of accidental dishcharge. Also, might be a good time to reiterate the importance of a goodnights sleep. Probably time to start marking the liquor bottles and finding a better hiding spot for your stash as well, 'cause that boy is totin' some serious baggage.

That's all folks!

Teach the young man safety,

The gun safety is huge issue, but is equally as appalling is that they shot this pig last night and apparently it still lies where he shot it, why is this not in your ice chest. So you are basically teaching your kid how to KILL and not to hunt.

I know there are some out there who will say a boar is not worth eating, but I disagree. If you dress it when you shoot it and chill it, you will enjoy some of the best meat you have ever had, in most cases. There are some exceptions but you will never find the exceptions with the skin still on.

Boar meet is disgusting and there are plenty of instances where killing for killings sake is acceptable.

See pigeons

See nutrea

See feral hogs

See high falutin yankees

See namby pamby whiny cry babies

We blast nuissance animals because they make good target practice and what we don't eat, nature will take care of.

Buzzards gotta eat same as worms

2:43, Eating equates to "harvesting", not hunting. Myself, I hunt many species, but only deer and turkeys are harvested. I hunt and kill hogs and predators (coyotes, bobcats....). Hogs, kill em' and let 'em lay, they're a nuisance.

meh,... speaking form experience there are some lessons in regards to fire arms that can't be taught.

You need to learn them first-hand

Keep the sows and yearlings.

Sell the boars to the Messkins, they'll eat everything from the rooter to the tooter! ยต

Wow! This little boy should not be hunting at all until he learns some gun safety. I can't believe the adult didn't say something to him, especially when he put his finger down the barrel. Appalling, actually.

Bubear, it's OK with us if you call the 'front of the barrel' the muzzle.

Agree that Dad or Grand-dad needs to spend some more time teaching safe handling to the youngster.

If it were me, I'd have cut that hog up, run it through a couple of salt water rinses, and made up a mess of pork roasts, chops, and sausage - but I understand some landowners simply wanting to be rid of the invasive pests.

Last hog I got, the guy who lived on the property asked what I was gonna do with the head.

"Uh, nothin'."

"Can I have it?"

"Um, yeah, sure."

Turns out he ran with a bunch of motorcycle dudes, and he stripped the heads down to the skull to trade other biker dudes for motorcycle parts.

Child endangerment. Take the boy away from the parents and confiscate the guns.

Hogs don't need to be hunted, they need to be wiped out. Has anyone of you in these posts seen what they do to a farm? They destoy it. It looks like someone to a plow to the place.

As far as the kid, yes he needs some gun saftey tips....

What happened? The video I'm seeing is a dog trying to go through a gate carrying a long stick in his mouth?

Ignore that comment, I refreshed and everything went back to the right place.
