If I should ever decide to commit suicide, the train would be my choice. So sorry the lady could find no other way thru her problems.

Was the conductor injured?

i heard she lost a daughter a month or so ago and just couldn not handle it. sad situation. i hope the family finds peace.

That is one of the most horrible ways to kill yourself, no different than jumping out in front of a car. You have now taken care of your problems, but given new problems to the person driving the vehicle.

Pills or carbon monoxide would probably be the least selfish, less likely to give nightmares to the person that finds you.

Her relatively inert body was impacted by hundreds of thousands of tons of steel and cargo travelling at a high rate of speed causing her early demise.

hope this helps.

Was told by some of her family that her name is Jamie king she was a middle age woman from fort worth in town visiting her daughter for a birthday party and said she was going for a walk. Her daughter lives about 100 yards from the tracks and the witnesses say she stood on the tracks with her hands up waiting for the train to hit her. I have heard alot about her losing a 17 yr old daughter nit to long ago and couldn't deal with it but I don't know how true that is. I'm sorry and I'm not trying to be rude but if u want to kill ur self take a bunch of pills and go to asleep no need in causing a big dramatic seen and dragging other innocent people into ur suicide that they have to live with for the rest of their lives. Now her daughter has to llol out her doors and see e every day where her mother had to kill her self and drive by it every day. Also the witness that had 2 little kids in the car that seen her do it. Or the engineer driving the train that there way he could stop in time to avoid it. So selfish if u ask me!

WELL, A FRIEND OF MINE NAMED STEVE GOODMAN WROTE THAT SONG AND HE TOLD ME IT WAS THE PERFECT COUNTRY & WESTERN SONG
I WROTE HIM BACK A LETTER AND I TOLD HIM IT WAS NOT THE PERFECT COUNTRY & WESTERN SONG BECAUSE HE HADNT SAID ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT MAMA,
OR TRAINS,
OR TRUCKS,
OR PRISON,
OR GETTING DRUNK
WELL HE SAT DOWN AND WROTE ANOTHER VERSE TO THE SONG
AND HE SENT IT TO ME,
AND AFTER READING IT,
I REALIZED THAT MY FRIEND HAD WRITTEN THE PERFECT
COUNTRY & WESTERN SONG
AND I FELT OBLIGED TO INCLUDE IT ON THIS ALBUM
THE LAST VERSE GOES LIKE THIS HERE:

WELL, I WAS DRUNK THE DAY MY MOM GOT OUT OF PRISON
AND I WENT TO PICK HER UP IN THE RAIN
BUT BEFORE I COULD GET TO THE STATION IN MY PICKUP TRUCK
SHE GOT RUN NED OVER BY A DAMNED OLD TRAIN

"trusted upwards" man, I hate it when that happenes.

The ignorant, unhealthy, and insensitive comments are a reflection of the moderator/blogger. Wonder how he would feel should (God forbid) something tragic happen to one of his loved ones and some other blogger let's comments like through.

Karma's a bitch...

my thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this lady i hate to hear that a person felt this was the only way to feel peace. please remember the conductor of the train along with anyone else who was on the train as they will need prayers to help them cope with this happening

I have a very good friend who lost a child a couple of years ago. The friend & spouse are having a difficult time getting up everyday & functioning. Life for them is not going on; it is standing still since the day their child died. It is hard to keep living without their child. This is not a funny situation.

Two blondes were walking through the woods and they came to some tracks.

The first blonde said: "These look like deer tracks."

And the other one said: "No they look like moose tracks."

They argued and argued for a while and they were still arguing when the train hit them.

If you find this disrespectful don't read it.

Barry, I agree with 8:43. Please remove this entire section about this woman and her death. This has gotten out of hand and become disrespectful. A person's painful life and death is nothing to make fun of.

Why is the railroad angry?

Because people are always crossing it!

I always figured when I want to off myself I'd just ride my motorcycle head on into a semi at high speed. I guess it would probably be polite to leave the driver a note sayin' "my bad"

I find it odd that the messenger has to add to the update that JP Terri Johnson pronounced the woman dead at 10 p.m.. It that important to the story, or does Terri just want to make sure she gets her name in the paper?

And if she was hit at 8:00 why two hours to pronounce her dead?

Anonymous said...

I agree 8:31 Why in the hell would we be interested in what time or who pronounced a person dead? I would rather know the victims name.

8:51 you as a friend should tell your depressed friends to snap out of it one way or another. Simple truth. Things happen in life that we don't like but that's the way it is.

A 25 yr. old with a 17 yr. old kid. Not possible. She would have been 8 when she had her.

8:31 They had to find all the parts?

Answers? I don't know the questions. said...

Barry, it would seem that you have a general lack of decency when it comes to this blog. I know in the past that you claim that you allowed certain comments to show the type of people that are out there. Can I tell you, we are already aware of that element. My guess is that you allow these type of comments strictly for the sensationalism that helps produce readers of your blog. Allowing these comments regarding some poor woman's death is despicable.

Anonymous said...

Telling a depressed person to "snap out of it" does not help anyone who is grieving the loss of a child. How insensitive. I have listened to my friends; suggested various counselors; cried with them; prayed for them. I would never say "just snap out of it!' as you suggested.

850 it aint uncomenn in arkensaw..dummass

Anonymous said...

10:44 I have lost a child and trust me when I say they need to snap out of it. And, you're not doing a dam thing but feeling sorry for them and enabling their problem. I am sooo glad I had friends that told me to snap out of it and that bad things happen everyday to people.

We need to quit with the train jokes. This is getting out of hand.

A blonde decided to commit suicide by hanging herself from a tree in the park.
A few days later, a man was walking his dog and spotted her hanging from the tree. He asks the blonde what she is doing and she replies, "I'm hanging myself."
"You're supposed to put the noose around your neck, not your waist," said the onlooker. "I tried that," replied the blonde, "but I couldn't breathe.

Barry -

You censor valid comments of the newly appointed judge but you let the life of this lady become a free-for-all?

Anonymous said...

So, was she a blond?

Anonymous said...

Is she OK?

Anonymous said...

My Karma ran over my dogma..now that's a bitch.

Anonymous said...

were drugs and alcohol involved?

Anonymous said...

Is she a hero? Come on now she might have been a cop or fireman at one time. when they die they are all heros remember.

It is official. The woman hit by a train was not 25 yrs old.
She was Frances Cleburn 57 yr of Richland Hills.
A daughter lives in Alvord.
So sad and wrong in so many ways.
May God have mercy on her sole.

5:46----------------

Why would god really be concerned about the bottom of her shoe? At this point that seems a little trivial.

10:49 Sorry about the typo. Of course, the word should have been soul. Sometimes my fingers do the spelling for me.
