Liberally Lean Forecast: A Beating


The famous heat wave of 1980 had a streak of 42 consecutive days where the temperature exceeded 100 degrees. That streak ended on August 3rd.

1980 was a hot year. The global cooling that has occured in the past 30 years has helped out a lot.

I remember 1980, then we had a very wet fall.

temps were well over 110 for near 40 days, night temps near 100..it was much worse.

I remember 1980 very well. I was 8 months pregnant, and couldn't even breathe when outside, even at night. I remember for about a week or more, it was over 116, MISERABLE. I hate this heat!
