Barry - I wish you would find out if this is really true. I just called there this morning to set up a prove-up divorce and they said any Tues. through Friday morning come on over (I don't live close either). So is someone else filling in for her or is this just not correct?
Denton County has a broken justice system, but it is better without Bruce Isaacks as DA. I fear that we will see several convicted persons exonerated who were convicted during his tenure.
It is my perception that the judges are either too scared politically to make sure that the accused get a fair trial or they view their role as assisting the prosecutor in obtaining a conviction.
And there seems to be a disproportionate number of people who serve on Denton juries that seem to be judgmental of everyone else but themselves.
