It's true, some parts of Bridgeport lost power.

A huge part of Bridgeport has no power. Everything north of either Cates or Halsell including most of the businesses in town. Bad day to try and eat in Bridgeport.

City of Bridgeport has set up emergency center to help with those affected by power outage.

Stupid, if the power is out, how can they respond to your question about dark computer screen. Bet you won't post this.

so what caused the outage?? wreck somewhere?

Guess they laid off the wrong guy. Anybody know where the breaker switch is?

City made the residents pay their bills, but then they didn't pay their own.

1:59, have you ever heard of "being facetious" ??!!!

Anonymous said...

Bridgeport did not pay the bill, so the power company shut off the power...

It's called sarcasm, no need for the name calling. If you think that LL is stupid, then don't read what he writes...simple as that. No need to be rude.

Electricity out in Bridgeport today. Water has been out in Weatherford all day. What city is next?

Anyone know of anything else going on in Bridgeport?? 2 black helicopters flying around and city and county police everywhere??

Anonymous said...

3:58 - not sure about the helicopters, but the police are probably just related to the power outage.

When I drove by the Bridgeport IGA area around 2:00, there were firefighters and others standing outside the laundry place looking up at the power lines. There were also several police vehicles gathering. I wasn't sure what was up.

The police were in town to carry all the money to pay the electric bill, so we could power back on

Sheesh..........Barry's word..........folks are using more power to keep cool.......concerned about black computer screens.......? Only if you are sitting in Barry's office.....and don't have a loved one affected by such.

Double sheesh!!

I wonder how much thawed out stuff IGA is going to refreeze and sell as just fine again?

IGA is the highest priced store and dirty. Can't wait for Brookshires. COME ON!!!!

Anonymous said...

It's gettin hot up in here.

I'm thinking IGA and Diamond better step up before Brookshire's opens! And it may be too late. I for one, refuse to go to Diamond after they caught fire, re-did the store and advertised as TOTALLY remodeled, all the way down to the floor tile! LIE, LIE, LIE! When you can see the markings on tile floor, it AINT new! Even people from Wise county can figure out that one! And yes, "DIRTY" should be in the names of these stores! I sure hope Brookshire's doesn't follow "grocery store suit" and become just as dirty!
