Random Wednesday Morning Thoughts

  • CNN keeps replaying an interview of an Oklahoma tornado victim who pronounced "windows" as "winders". I suspect that mispronunciation had something to do with his airtime.
  • Greg "The Hammer" Williams will co-host on 105.3 The Fan at midday today for the second day in a row. Yesterday was fantastic.
  • He said NBC5's Kim Fischer "kinda had a horse face." She tweeted back that he was a "washed up old sports radio dude."
  • I was on 287 headed to Fort Worth yesterday when an 18 wheeler in front of me had a blow out. It was an incredibly loud explosion followed by white smoke that completely obscured my view. I pretended it was like NASCAR and went low.
  • Fake hawt Sarah Palin.
  • I think the girl who escaped in handcuffs over the weekend in Wise County might be in good shape: Cops don't know who she is.
  • I'm hearing about a lot of money being spent up at the courthouse. Not sure how that's going to fly with the upcoming budget crisis the county is about to face.
  • Weight loss update: Down 13 pounds. I'm close to sharing my weight loss graph which covers about 70 days.
  • Always love this quote about Project Graduation: "Why do we have to bribe kids to do what they are supposed to?"
  • Texas High School football announcer disappointment.
  • I emailed my a friend yesterday who responded with a fake "auto reply" from her employer saying she was a "former employee" having been fired for doing naughty things. Funny.
  • Somebody want to stop that oil spill in the Gulf?
  • A plane crashed overnight in Libya killed 103 people, but one boy survived. Makes me think of the movie Unbreakable.

I either want to take the boobs off the girl on the right and put them on the girl on the left or put the girl's head on the left on the girl on the right.

Lone survivor made me think of Unbreakable too, but then I thought prob just the anti-christ.

Have you officially run out of photos? That was possibly the worst one ever. They look like a couple of Greek boat people being returned to their land by the navy of a neighboring land with a better economy.

Let's not forget Ro-bot Gregg-O...Lucy Papillon!

And I heard a rumor that Little Girl Greggo character was taken into custody by CPS. Seems she's been neglected ever since he left...

OMG...Romo can actually play a sport and be good at it? Too bad it isn't the sport he gets paid millions to play.

"Why do we have to bribe kids to do what they are supposed to?".... because that's what we've come to.....a sorry state of affairs indeed.

Yeah, the pics are taking a dive again.

Yeah, I can remember as a high schooler thinking to myself I was just going to walk away without a diploma if they did not put on a project graduation. It got so bad in college that I had to have my parents do a special proj. grad. just to get me through that endeavor...I would have walked away from all my education without it....sad state of affairs indeed!

Agreed 9:53:

Maybe if Romo actually concentrated on getting better at the sport that he is actually paid to play and give up on his dream of being the next Arnold Palmer, he could be a great quarterback. Jerry should just put his foot down with Romo.

If people really think that bribing their kids with gifts at Project Graduation is going to keep them from going out and getting sloshed, you are wrong. They just do it the night after Project Graduation.

Our experience with Project Celebration/Graduation was that it was all about a select group of parents making sure their seect group of kids got free stuff. As parents of a senior at a local high school (and we newer to the campus, town) we were never notified of the meetings (until the VERY LAST ONE!). Ironic? I don't think so. We chose not to become a part of the clique! And that's ok. Hell, our son siad he had a difficult time even getting in to the prom for all the parents standing in the hallway taking pics! Time for the parents to grow up! Let the kids have the spotlight--not you anymore!! Your teenage years are over!

State budget deficit of $18 billion = not good. I'm sure the response from Austin will be to raise taxes and not decrease spending.

If Palin looked and dressed like that, she'd get my vote. And I'm a Yellow Dog Dem. Mercy!

LOL Barry about the "winder". You said the same thing the other night. Remember? I told you my husband just drove up and you said, "Hurry up! Help me get this winder open".

Yea, Hart is coming back to coach at Bridgeport.

Have to agree with the previous comments, Barry. That pic is weak. I think I could find better contenders at the local JCPenny.

Still don't understand all the grief that Romo gets. It's not football season, let the man play golf. Geez, if the complainers devoted HALF the time that Romo spends on his, then they might actually get a promotion to the fry cook spot.

Why did our awesome police/sheriff dept. not get the girl's name. It seems when you put handcuffs on a person you will get a name atleast and I also believe when you take a female in custody.. you are supposed to tell your dispatcher that you have 1 female in custody....just saying.

I have to disagree with The Hammer. Kim Fisher has or is a butterface.

About the girl who escaped in handcuffs over the weekend, I think I know who that was. Oh wait a minute, I better make sure I got my info right. Did she escape from a cop's bedroom or a cop car?

That fake Palin is Porn Star Lisa Ann...that pic is from the feature 'Who's Nailin' Palin'

The complaints about Romo stem from the fact that it is only about two months until Training Camp begins. Most quarterbacks are busy working out and getting ready for the football season, not trying to qualify in another sport. If he were already a great quarterback and was trying this, then there would be no complaints about doing this.

On the girl w/out a name, all the sheriffs dept has to do is put the pressure on that bunch out there at that junkyard, they know who she is.

So our state run by a Republican Senate, House and governor is looking at a $18 BILLION deficit. Gee, I was under the impression that these were the fiscally responsible conservatives who disdain any federal monetary assistance. So which programs will they cut? Which taxes will they increase? And you will blindly re-elect them yet again?
