We Got A Lake Bridgeport Issue Brewing?

The lake is already completely full and the watershed had been getting pounded all morning. And, since I'm the most trusted name in weather, I think the cold front stalling over the metroplex is causing all the rain to stick to the same pattern without moving. And it's supposed to do that for a couple of days? Edit: They opened up one gate Friday afternoon (thanks, Joey):

Green boxes = flood watch, I'm assuming?

Yet once again a person with a J.D. assumes that degree gives him education in EVERYTHING. Good thing I only have a degree in genetics, I think I'll apply at NASA to be a rocket scientist.

It doesn't take a genetics degree or a JD to understand that this much rain is going to raise Lake Bridgeport and the North Fork. A Chico HS dropout can tell the water's gonna rise and some folks could get wet.

Anyone hear of an oil well spilling into lake Bridgeport?

Barry is right. Thanks for the reminder. Get the cows out of the Trinity river bottom pastures. There was between five and ten inches of rain in much of the watershed of Lake Bridgeport.

what's the story with the oil that was running into L B'port near RB around noon today..the cops were having difficulty locating the source of the leak..anybody know anything..?

Is that why the sirens were going off for hours today ?

I trust my weather rock. Hasn't been wrong yet.

If it's wet, rain.
If it's dry, no rain.
If it's rolling, tornado warning.
