The Exit

What an experience. If you even remotely enjoy football, people watching, or big time scenes in general, I urge you to attend a Texas/OU game one day. I've been to a lot of stadiums in my life, but this game may be the best in the nation. And if you get lucky enough to catch two Top 10 teams in a game that turns out to be a classic, thank your lucky stars. I'm doing that tonight. It was worth every StubHub.com penny. But now that that the Cotton Bowl has been upgraded to a one of the ten largest stadiums in America, this game has become a must see event. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope that game stays in Dallas and doesn't move to the new Cowboys stadium in Arlington.

TEXAS games have always been a blast to attend!! There's just something very upbeat and exciting about them. I attended school there in the late 70's. Have never ever experienced anything like a UT football game anywhere. Also, used to love to walk the track while the UT band was practicing! GOOD TIMES! AND...if you have never experienced a TEXAS basketball game in the Frank Erwin center... you've really missed out! HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!

Yes, I agree, the UT/OU game should stay in the Cotton Bowl. No other game is right dab in the middle of any state fair, much less the biggest state fair in the country. You just can't beat the uniqueness and fun, fun, fun.

Go Horns! Beat Missouri!
We have tickets to that one & it looks like it's going to be a game between 2 top 5 teams again for UT.

The Horns have not much time to revel in this sweet victory because next week is another big one!

It's all good! I love UT football, all the time, but especially when they are rolling like they are now.

Tradition may be (is always) better(sp) than change.

I don't like drunks or football. I say get it out of Dallas and take it to Arlington.

BG,
I couldn't agree more. We had a Blast. The game was great, the best team won and the atmosphere is like none other. Although, a close second is attending a game in Austin since the new stadium.
Many of the OU fans were just stunned. They were nice losers, just seemed to be in shock.

Barry, you picked a good one to go to. I've been to a lot of TX/OU games and that was easily Top 5. Glad you enjoyed it.

Go ahead & take Texas as your backup team behind the Bears. Hook 'Em!

And maybe now you will stop referring to UT as the "evil empire"... but just "THE EMPIRE!" haha!

Pfft. UT/OU. What a joke. 90% of you "fans" have never even set foot on the campus!

The REAL game is Thursday night at Amon Carter Stadium: #24 TCU vs. #8 BYU.

Support your local team!

I smell upset.
