Random Thought

That Best Buy commercial that shows the girl mocking her parents until they show up with presents really bugs the crap out of me.

Me too! But kinda sums up the generation we're raising now!

She's a bitch! but Upbringing breeds it into them!

Be good parents and raise them right. Just make sure you bribe them with gifts from Best Buy so they will love you.

It's symptomatic of the whole commercial blitz that Christmas has become. The entire season makes me nauseous.

2:23, it's not the generation we're raising that's the problem, it's the generation that's doing the raising.

I hate teenagers.

Amen 9:07--to quote the old Pogo comic strip--"We have found the enemy and he is US!"

Not as bad as that stupid "Holiduh" commercial that is on every other minutes.

Agreed. That commercial is terribly annoying, but I have one I hate even more: it's the one with the fat black football player who pulls a Dr. Pepper out of his sock and does the gayest end zone celebration I've ever seen. At one point, when he attacks the goal post, I think he's going to try to have sex with it. The look on the ref's face sums it up for me. It makes me not ever want Dr. Pepper ever again, much like the way the Snickers commercial in last year's Super Bowl made me never eat another Snickers bar (you remember the one where the two mechanics start at each end of the bar and eat until they kiss...ugh!)

Crud, that's two homosexual references in one post. This brings forth some of the only Shakespeare that I remember. Methinks crud bonemeal "doth protest too much".

9:37, I agree -- the "Holiduh" commercial drives me insane.

The holliduh is stupid. The Best Buy add makes me want to slap the sh_t out of her. I kinda like the Dr. Pepper add though.
