Fran is gone. Nebraska fired its football coach this morning. Mike Singletary rejected Baylor like a bad first date from match.com. And, in an unrelated football note, ORU president Richard Roberts - who I used to watch on Sunday morning before his daddy saw a 900 foot Jesus - got ran out of town.
It's ugly out there.

The Aggie offense we saw Friday is the one we always expected To see from Fran. If he could have shown that earlier, he would have outlasted Mac who hasn't shown me any great coaching except knowing when to let Vince take over for him. College Station hasn't been fun for Fran, but how much patience will there be in Austin if you can't go BCS with the talent that they've handed Mac? Yes, it's tough out there!
Picture looks like Fran is saying "Sorry Mac, you're next."
Richard Roberts should have left on his own. You do know about his wife, don't you? She didn't cheat on him, he let her do it with his full knowledge. Among other things.
I'm pretty sure that Texas hasn't had less than 9 wins since 1997...that's a decade of great seasons. More wins than any other team during the past decade. Add to that a couple Big XII championships, a BCS National Title, a Heisman Trophy Winner [let's not mention the dope], and you have the winningest team in Texas. I would think that Brown's job is secure. I guess Vince Young was at Texas for the entire decade? When you are as good as Texas, it's not surprising that other blog readers try to make Texas look bad.
8:49, sounds like a little Runaway Bay social club that some people know about.
Yea, it's crazy here... No idea who's gonna take over, but Fran ended the season well.
So when are Roberts' wife and Fran putting out a sex tape?
