I would think that many police officers feel like the enemy considering that they have to arrest people for silly things like marijuana possession.
Some people get a break. "yes officer, I was speeding a little...late for work...no excuses...not much traffic out here this early...I'll slow down next time". Some people don't get a break. "sup cop? Oh, you pro file in da bro? cuz my skin nome sane? You knewed I was black fo I top da dam hill. Udda cop call ahead on my azz, right cop? mo fo!"

Kinda like Barry being an attorney. Attorney's have the absolute discretion to take or refuse a guilty as hell clients case and try to get them off. That really gets me! I guess it is I will try and get you off, but I really need the money because after all that case you have is theft. Or you can continue to sell your meth to pay me, because you uwon't get tried for that in this county. D.A. doesn't prosecute, dismissed in the interest of justice, no affirmative like between the dope and (only occupant of their vehicle) or we will just make the POLICE look bad because we refuse to do our job.
