National Safe Place is an organization that provides assistance to ANY youth in a difficult/crisis situation.

The Safe Place sign is designated to locations that participate in the National Safe Place program. Such as local fire departments, churches, prominent convenience stores, hospitals and other public assistance/service locations. Baby Safe Place was created to allow a mother to safely give her baby away with no questions asked-and put in proper hands.

The sign is a little creepy....come here little kid...to the safe place.
It's a baby drop. Means that if you don't want your baby, before you kill it or put it in a dumpster, you can dump it at the sign and not be prosecuted later. Seriously, that's what it means.
