This made me think of my former post about the confusing combination of Jesus and Santa. And I was very shocked to learn that a former commenter on this blog is in favor of the practice.
My sister-in-law is telling her daughter that Jesus is bringing her presents this year, not Santa.
Will he fly on a sleigh pulled by Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and company?
Insanity.
No one should worship Jesus. Christians are supposed to try to live his example, but never to worship him. After, all, although he was the son of God, he was a man. That's something Catholics have bastardized.
Yes Jesus was a man, but the only man that was perfect. think frustrated....I can certainly see why you are so frustrated. That is something that is taught when you are a small child. Jesus was sent here to show the way. All I need to say to you is that we will all be praying for you.
It's a metaphor; I am "in favor of the practice." That of the Santa bowing to the manger, that is. Your "Ask Him for something" is nonsense, I agree.
Santa--the representation of our secular customs/traditions--"bowing" to the manger shows that all of our lights, gifts, eggnog parties and Christmas carols are a nod to the Reason for the Season.

Ahem...
SAINT Nicholas aka Santa Claus was a DEVOUT Christian, of course St. Nicholas would worship Jesus.

Not worship Jesus where did you get that?
Here we go.....
I read the comments from the original post and LOL! I can just see the bunny rolling back the stone on Easter! What a great morning laugh!
Hey "think frustrated"--gotta ask--
Does Jesus also leave money under her pillow when she loses a tooth and hide the Easter eggs?

Merry CHRISTmas
Hey frustated....What religion are you? For your information, all Protestant denominations are a bastardized version of Roman Catholicism.
