Yes, that is one bad spot, light and all. A nightmare when somebody is coming out of McDonald's to get into the right lane or a westbound car trying to turn into one of the establishments across from McDonalds.
The answer about the light is to call Bill Nelson for advice.

Isn't Bill Nelson the guy responsible for the months and months of delay getting 380 between Decatur and Bridgeport finished? I'll bet he has numerous (stupid) excuses for the light as well as the 380 project. Government employees - geeeze!
and of course the problem on hwy 51 by the Exxon. I thought it might improve when the new high school opened, but it hasn't.
that light has been that way for months. It was especially interesting when the intermediate school was still by the stadium and after school got out at Rann all the cars & busses were backed up on bus. 380 all the way down the hill to sendero.

How does one go about getting this Nelson fired for incompetence? Who's his boss? Is there any accountability?

Too bad it couldn't be the light by the DCSC cleaners. Maybe they would run through the clothes destroying, crappy service having place and close it down!
