Worth Watching?

Michael Irvin might (or might not) be in hot water for suggesting that Dallas QB Tony Romo has a little black in his heritage since he's such a good athlete. Specifically, he suggested that Romo's great-great-great Grandma "ran over in the hood and something went down" or "pulled one of them studs up outta the barn." The comments were made on the Dan Patrick radio show. You can hear them here. May favorite part is at the end where co-host Keith Olberman says, "Let's try to turn out of this skid."

Oh no! He's black, so its "okay" to make those remarks--but if someone with a "lighter complexion" had said that--every news commentator would be covering it and demanding an apology--and hinting at "possible liability"! Its enough to make you sick. Like I've always said--the only remaining racists are the minorities (if your definition of a racist is one who mentions race often in conversations--a pretty reaasonable definition, I think).

I wonder if ESPN will fire him like they did Rush Limbaugh? LMAO. ESPN loves this guy cause he talks hood. What a f'ing idiot. And I also wonder if he apologizes to Romo. I hope Romo hires Gloria Allred to negotiate a huge settlement.

If you're black, it's OK to talk about whiteys, and it's OK to get caught in a room with two prostitutes and a bag of rubber dongs.

This guy NEVER had class and never will. Only one worse than him is ol big eared Dione Sanders. There are blacks and then there are N _ _ _ _ _ _ !! Irvin is the latter.
