I'm now watching Apocalypse Now.
I'm an hour and half into it and so far: True Greatness.
And it was cool to see a very brief appearance by a very young Harrison Ford (pictured).

you are correct....true greatness.....now watch the directors cut.....it fills in all the gaps
Yeah, but when it gets to Marlon Brando in the ending, it goes totally in the tank!! He was awful. It was the most obvious case of "I'm a big-time actor and I know it and I want you to know it" piece of acting I have ever seen. They also couldn't make up their minds on how the movie should end--and it looks like it. Otherwise, it was brilliant.

I just LOVE Robert Duval!!!
The Thorn Birds is also a great classic.
If you're a Seinfeld addict, late in the movie you'll say "oh, I get it." Are you an assassin?
You need to watch "Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102015/) about the making of the movie. Crazy stuff!
