Frontier justice has prevailed once again!
I couldn't place where I had seen the name before...thanks for clearing that up!
If I recall there were actually 2 men by the name of Tony Kempf both of Chico. The innocent man's wife wrote I believe on the blog trying to clear her husband's name.
OMG IT WAS HAYSUS'S WORK!!!!11
Sounds like Suicide to me.
Correction: the other is Tony Kemp of Chico. Son of Stanley kemp who owns Kemp's Wrecker Service.
This was a terrible accident just as the other fatality accidents with diesels lately have been. No one should assume this was a suicide. In a wreck, you never know what could have occurred from mechanical failure to spilled coffee, not to metion driving east that early in the morning with the sun. I still believe the shooting case from January was self-defense, but now God can be the rightful judge. I hope the family can find peace, and know that God decided this man had suffered enough here on earth.
Who is accururate the Wise County Messenger, or this Fort Worth Station?

FORMER MURDER SUSPECT DIES IN CRASH
Posted Thursday, July 13, 2006 by countrynews
A man at one time thought to be a murder suspect is killed in a car crash in Wise County Saturday morning.
47-year-old Tony Kempf of Chico was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on US 380 just east of Bridgeport. According to the DPS report, Kempf was headed eastbound when he slowed to make a u-turn in the road and was struck head-on by a rock-hauler.
Back in January, Kempf was charged with the murder of a 67 year old Rhome man he had gotten into an altercation with. The victim, Marshall Roper pulled a gun and shot Kempf, who then took the gun away from the elderly man and shot him in the head. Roper later died at the hospital and Kempf was arrested. (THIS IS THE BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE STORY!)A few weeks later, Kempf was released from jail after the District Attorney’s Office determined the shooting was self-defense and chose not to prosecute the case.
