Hungerectomy

There is the oddest/smartest billboard between Rhome and (what I still call) "Jeterville". It is simply the word "Hungerectomy" in a font that is associated with Snickers. The background, not surprisingly, is the brown color associated with a Snicker's wrapper. There's nothing else to it. But it sure did get my attention. I'll try and find a pic.

These are all over the metroplex with different sayings..there is one off of Forest Park Blvd. that reads "Peanutopolis". Kinda quirky, but eye catching.

Barry - Lol, I noticed that also when coming back from Fort Worth!

Great marketing tool huh?

There is one of those Peanutopolis signs between denton and decatur.

I noticed that the other day - thought it was really interesting.

I also call it Jeeterville - home of 5 people and a cat (or something like that :)

I think those ads are in very poor taste. Hungerectomy? Why would you want to think of highly invasive surgery when you are thinking of a candy bar.

Three letters away from hysterectomy... awful.
