Right. And she didn't. Nor was she about to. She is holding the baby very securely...like anyone would. The goofy guy in the picture had too much coffee that day.

I agree 8:30. Guys need to comment on the subjects they know about. Babies are squirmy, sometimes they flop backwards. Britney does have a very secure hold on her baby.

That she does and from what I understand from reports, she was trying to maneuver through a crowd of media hounds. Let's give the poor girl a break. I would like to see anyone that casts a stone at her to live her life for one day. It's got to be hard living under such scrutiny all the freakin' time.

It looks like she got pushed. Stop
picking on Britney

One thing I have noticed with all these pictures that keep coming out with Britney is, that at least she has her child with her. It doesn't appear as though she has abandoned her child to be raised by a nanny and then her carrying on with her life as though she wasn't a parent. For that, I commend her.

I agree m&m but I will also say that Britney is looking pretty rough lately! Can someone help her with the bags under her eyes, she is way to young for that!

I think she looks Fabulous. She has gained some weight, normal for just having a baby and don't forget she is pregnant again. I wish the media would let her just kick back and be a Mom. That's obviously what she wants. If she didn't, she wouldn't. Let's let Britney enjoy motherhood.

Even if she would have dropped her baby most people experience that, come on. Everyone may not actually drop them but they lay them on the bed and they roll down, or they roll down from a counter when changing diapers. It happens to almost everyone, they're fast and they do tend to just insanely swing backwards when you hold them like that. I agree that it looks like she's got a steady grip, the guy probably didn't know that babies throw themselves back like that.

OTOH I can't believe she drove with her child in her lap without a carseat, there's no excuse for that, but it doesn't make her the worlds worst mom.

To m&m: EXCELLENT point! However, I do believe Britney requires either parenting classes or supervision (as displayed by the bodyguards keeping Britney from falling and dropping her baby) to assure the safety of her child when he is in her care.

You base her needing classes on tripping once? On almost loosing grip on a wild baby?

Every parent in the world must need supervision then.

I don't think it is such a big deal that she tripped with a baby...who hasn't?! But what makes this a little worse is that it was photographed and filmed and that not a drop spilled out of her drink and yet her baby's head jerked back and his cap flies off!

What makes Britney nearly dropping her baby so outrageous is that she has been photographed TWICE within the past few weeks breaking state traffic laws while driving with her baby in an auto. BOTH times she failed to properly restrain and protect her infant child. Britney’s carelessness regarding her child’s safety appears to be a pattern.

Even though her son did lose his cap in the mishap I guess you do have to give Britney a few points for not sloshing so much as a drop of her drink when she tripped.

For the record, MY 19 year old son has NEVER been dropped or permitted to fall or roll off of ANY surface. For that matter he has NEVER received ANY injury due to parental negligence/stupidity. I guess this means I still do not qualify as a member of the “most” group.
