You've Got To See

The ice sculpture exhibit at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine called, well . . . "Ice". It's a bit pricey ($20.00), but worth it. (I went yesterday). And if you are the least bit interested, click here to see a picture from inside the exhibit.

WOW! Somebody spent a lot of time and money on that.

It was fantastic...and COLD! We took gloves, hats, and scarves and still only lasted 40 minutes before we had to leave (they provide you with a wonderfully warm parka). It is kept between 9 and 14 degrees and is gorgeous. Barry's picture of the nativity has all those characters FULL size...not just little table top creations. It was just gorgeous and the hotel itself is absolutely amazing.

Barry,

On a totally unrelated subject, I personally think a big ol' "I was wrong about Texas getting to the Big Dance" posting is due. Your readers would have a little more respect for you, as I do. Roses are red, violets are blue, on Jan. 4th, Barry will wear burnt orange all the way to his shoes!! Go Horns!! SC-Denton

5 of us were thinking of going to this thing. Is it really worth $100? How long does it take to view it?
