Is there a reason that the list is in Spanish? I scanned the article and didn't catch any mention of it. But I think it's a great thing to do...dead beat dads should be held partially financially responsible for the children they helped to create. The list should contain more than ten...How do you say "loser" in Spanish?
...good idea about the publication of the dead beat dads......such an interesting photo of Abbott shown in front of the Ten Commandments....very very impressive!
My Ex should be on that list!
It's to bad that my x-SIL isn't on that list. He owes over $10,000.00 for the second child, this doesn't include the first child that he hasn't paid for. I had written the AG's office on Thursday about this very problem. I see it as 'funny' that he would place this on his website now. My question still has been unanswered; "Why would Texas law makers put in place a law that they have no clue on how to enforce". Enough said!!!!!
Yes, he is a born show man. Let's also not forget that 15 years or so ago, he was jogging in Houston when a tree fell on him and he sued the property owner. Got about 12 MILLION dollars. Then becaome Attorney General and pushed HARD for tort reform... that's right...pushed for laws to prevent the rest of us from suing in exactly that type of case or putting caps on the amount we could recover in that type of case. In other words, "it's OK if I do it but not if you do it". He's a shameful self-promoter. I'm not surprised at this latest photo op about dead beat dads in front of the 10 Commandments statue. He's way too infatuated with himself for me.
I totally agree. I think there should be a deadbeat "moms'" list as well so I could add mine on there.
Making lists of deadbeats is sure easier than actually bringing them in and making them pay up. Just more Republican posturing without any enforcement action.
