Enough of Good Tidings

Ok, I've got a post-Christmas gripe. What is up with the sales people manning the kiosks at Northeast Mall who approach you and bug you to buy their products as you walk by? I felt like I was walking through downtown Matamoras.

I rememer being in Mexico a few years ago and it was July and hot as hell. We went to a little town and the store owners where yelling "I got what you need!" Kinda like the mall huh Barry?

Of course the more popular stores where yelling " we have air conditioning!" HEHE

When I was in Korea, the Korean shop owners didn't know much English but some learned a bit. There was one that would yell

"Attention Kmart shoppers, c'mon on down, everything free"

It used to make me LMAO

Bill O'Reilly was saying the exact same thing on his show a few weeks back. Say it ain't so, Barry. Are you coming away from the darkside? Have you seen the light?

I agree Barry, they are quite annoying. But the ones I encountered seem to back off and not pester anymore as soon I said, "No thank you!"

All the more reason to shop locally and support those who support Wise County! Before long, the "Mom and Pop" stores will be extinct! Those Metroplex Malls and the Internet don't support your little league team, food bank, hospital, and organizations that provide for the county you live in!

People spend their dollars out of county but when they need a donation, they ask locally! And shop owners are hit by the droves for donations! Put your money back into the city in which you live or work! And don't say you can't get what you need locally! With our growth, towns like Decatur and Bridgeport have marvelous shops with a variety of merchandise.

Many local folks haven't even tried to explore what is available to them. One shop owner told me they had been open two years and people were starting to come in and say "I didn't know you were here!" Support your own economy! You'd be amazed at the the money you will save (local merchants are often far less than Metromess stores!) And look at the gas money you'd save not to mention the frustrations of parking and traffic! You won't get near the customer service by "foreign imports" that you get with "down home" folks!

I'm sure Berry was just returning gift so that he could get what he needs at the local Walmart! I say enjoy the little vacation to Mexico and next time pop in to the local tex-mex and have a ICE COLD ONE.The glass might be better if you look at it as half full. Why on why would you go to the mall the day after Christmas if your not looking for people to act a little crazy??

The "local" Walmart chain is just as big a culprit! Do you know how many merchants they have run out of business? And who can deal with the "local" Walmart? Did you see the parking situation during the holidays? Try to get down the aisles? And a big Zilch in customer service!

LMAO
There is no such thing as a "local" Walmart anyway.
