Maybe He Will Finally Do Something

Tiger Woods turns 30 tomorrow. His career earnings on the PGA tour total $63,787,396 (and then you can add the endorsement money on top of that).

And our children's teachers make how much?

I share a birthday with Tiger and LeBron. What happened? How do they make so much money while I keep hitting keys on a keyboard

C'mon, folks. These top athletes are entertainers, too. Some make very big bucks. But so do your favorite entertainers (check what a no-talent like Katie Couric makes)! I suggest if your best teachers could entertain like these athletes, they'd make a little more, too.

Excuse me! If it were not for teachers, where would we all be. What's more important??? I'll probably get bashed for that, but I don't care. The fact reamins that "entertainers" make too much.

I'm not a Tiger fan due to idiot golf commentators that do nothing but kiss his, well you get the picture. However, I give credit where credit is due. The man can play. Now when he's 15 shots off the lead and doesn't make the cut, I don't want to see every time he wipes his nose on the course, just when he is closer in the hunt. The tv ratings dictate otherwise and I can see where they come from, hence the demand and the well deserved paychecks. The reason he's paid so much is simply a matter of demand. If he wasn't such a draw, prize money would not be so high.

Hope he gets a tax break. Maybe he should set up a corporation in the Cayman Islands. He is cute. I for one just like to watch him walk the course....who cares what his score is. He has done more for the boring sport of golf than I ever thought possible.

11:15 - we certainly need teachers - the good ones. We also need nurses, doctors, policemen, firemen, electricians, plumbers, (and even rock truck drivers) and lots of other folks to make our society work. They get paid what the market will bear. Unfortunately, speculators (like Donald Trump), realtors, corporate executives and even some lawyers make too much $$$. So maybe choose a profession that rewards you in the way you like and be happy with it. Tiger does pretty well in his chosen vocation.
