Northwest ISD has a big brand new scoreboard and they have begun selling ads to go on the face of it.
According to the Star-Telegram, one of the ad buyers is a church. "The Church at Trophy Lakes will pay $17,500 per year for the next three years. Church members bought the ads to show their support for the district, its students and educators, said Rick Cochran, executive pastor and administrator."

Well do you tithe?
I bet you are a tipper, or do you even go to church?
That $17,500 could have fed many unfortunate human beings in this world. Just another example of a confusion of priorities.
What ever happened to seperation of church and state???
Seperation of Church and State? go back to school and read it again! there is a true meaning to Seperation of Church and state, not the one you are thinking of.
anonymous # 3 how many unfortunate human beings are you feeding? Well tell us please we would like to know
Hum????? waiting
WELL Barry give us an answer?
I was wondering how they were going to pay for the new college, oops, sorry, meant high school, stadium.
Be careful what you are write; good Christians like Pat Robertson may be reading!
The Liberal that you Barry! just all trash talk
what is a Christian wizard?
Barry, Barry, Barry
A "Christian" is one who is "Christ-Like". Does this describe Robertson and all those folks support him and who wait with baited breath on his every word? Anyone heard anything from Falwell or Graham? Do they support their "fellow" evangelist for his encouraging murder? Or do you think they and the "Christian Right" would be more inscensed if Robertson got caught with his pants down with a young intern @ CBN?
Wizard you are sick
And they wan't even tell what denomination they are. Are they ashamed of being Baptist? Or are they one of those boogidy boogidy church that are trying to abolish all of our good Methodist traditions?
Maybe their priority is to go where they people are and try to get noticed. Wow, a church that wants to get people who don't go to church to come to their church. Can you imagine that?
Methodist traditions? I though in the Methodist Church anything went? whatever you wanted to do it was ok? is that not true?

But not near as sick as the people who scream moral outrage at a person's yielding to "temptations of the flesh"and then spend this kind of $ of the churches funds to advertize at a football stadium.
Wizard you are clueless
