I Thought Chandler Dane Graduated?
The Dallas Morning News has its high school football preseason special issue today. Of their 10 "expert" prognosticators, here are the votes for the predicted winner of District 7-3A:
Bridgeport - 4 votes
Decatur - 5 votes
Lake Worth - 1 vote

Chandler graduated and is at Baylor. Although he is not playing football anymore.

Anyways....looks like the Dallas Morning News hasn't done their homework. Also, did I read somewhere that Devin Godboldt left for a private school??? If so, Decatur's offense is shot to hell.
Yeah Godboldt left for Liberty Christian in Denton, because Decatur ISD supposedly wasn't giving him the help he needed to pass the TAKS test to graduate..
Just right about Devin, we didn't care if he could read or write as long as he kept scoring those touchdowns.
Don't count Decatur out just because Dane, Christian & Goldbolt are gone. Three years ago they were starting as sophomores and everyone was saying the same thing. Their coaches are very talented especially at putting the right players in the right positions and they have a nice size talent pool to draw from.
The coaches are also very good at making a team that chokes before they make it to the state championship.

i would rather choke in the playoffs then not be there at all.
dane is a walk on to the football team at baylor.
bridgeport coaches have proven to make a team choke before district even starts.
All Devon's step-parents or whatever you want to call them want is money. They just want Devon to go pro. Frankly, he is too small, and he was royally screwed being transferred during his senior year. But, he will be starting off with a clean slate I guess-since no one in Wise County can spell his name right-even certain reporters.. DEVON not DEVIN
