Was Jan Crouch notable or notorious? I vote for the latter. Good riddance.

Chinese wig makers are closing up shops all across Hong Kong with her death. That woman could really wear a wig.

I think Jan Crouch started out as a doe-eyed girl, full of love and wonder and brimming with the holy spirit. She had charisma and charm coming out of every pore in her beautiful body and she was not a bit shy to share it with anyone and everyone.

That she became jaded and wary and more worldly through the years was not at all surprising and actually unavoidable. I think marrying a super-ambitious, empire-hungry businessman like Paul had a noticeable dimming effect on her youthful, energetic spirit as the years went by. A good bit of his hunger for material growth and acquisition rubbed off on her. It's an age-old story. Power and money corrupt. Always have, always will. Even the best people cannot completely guard against it.

Jan was a human being. A sinner, just like you and me. Her TV persona was not who she was. It was a part of her but not the whole of her. Some people will never forgive her for that.
