Don't trust the city council or police in Rhome. If you are pulled over for a traffic violation, call 911 and ask for Wise County Sheriff to back up the call for your safety. They are aware of Davis and the council's actions.
Joann walked her cowardly self out of a cc meeting? Is anybody surprised or care...probably the reason there is just this one comment about it! She probably thinks she's famous for making the front page while the rest of us are laughing and shaking our heads! Loser! The City Council chambers is nasty in Rhome. It smells like a mix of smoke, dollar general perfume, and arm and hammer clump and seal kitty litter. You need an allergy pill just to walk in the son of a bitch.Tide with bleach couldn't clean up that mess.

Someone please explain: There are five months left in the school fiscal year with three being non-instructional (no students). Are you telling me the leadership (supt. & school boards) in Alvord & Chico are so incompetent that, knowing in March there will be decreased revenue (income) for the next fiscal year, they cannot plan a way to live within their means and must declare a 2016-17 budget deficit now? This sounds like someone is planning an under the table move to build/buy some big ticket item and are getting out the smoke canisters and mirrors in order to sock it to John Q taxpayer, raise taxes, and THEN say "well, it's not as bad as we first thought". That's what board members did in Alvord did to discredit the former supt. Then they got a glowing report from the independent auditor. Oh well, it wasn't as bad as we thought. So they give the coaches a raise. THUGS!!!

Last week the Messenger reported the Circus was coming to town. What you didn't read was that the circus wanted to stop in Rhome but the council voted "no", seems they didn't want the competition.
You would think Davis would catch a clue, that if every other week your name is in the paper or your getting pulled into executive session that one of these days something is going to stick. Just like grandmas biscuits, keep throwing them at the wall hard enough and they'll stick. Davis must know that this is his last police job, after this he won't be able to get on as a reserve with Pelican Bay
this year it's Rhome, in the past it has been Chico, Newark, pelican bay, Alvord, just to name a few. I am sure it will change again, wonder who it will be next. any volunteers or nominations? got to sell papers somehow,
