Very sad. That life should have/ could have been saved.

There was a bully in our middle school when I was a kid. He and his cronies picked on all the small kids because he was so much bigger than everyone else.

I never will forget the day I told my dad about it during family dinner. He looked at my two older brothers and said 'take care of it'.

My brothers went up there and the second my oldest brother saw him picking on a small 7th grader, he grabbed that guy by the throat with one hand and pinned his head against the brick wall. Some choice words followed. Then he peeled out in his 1970 Mustang, laying a scratch in all 3 gears across the length of a parking lot.

That dick never picked on anyone again and his chicken sh#$ cronies avoided him like the plague.

Wish that could happen to all bullies.

Ok just read the story. You're right its horrible. Im not numb, but I think thats just a sign of how hardened we've become to this kind of story. Couldn't they track the Facebook creep that started it? seems like he had more than a small hand in this.

Wow... pretty rough....

Facebook can be a beast...things said online that would never be said in person and and broadcasted to the masses.... And its' so misused. Nothing but a drama creator for many people.

Being a bully in the school halls is one thing.... but broadcasting it to everyone on the net causes exponential harm.

So inappropriate.... so wrong

Have mercy. What is wrong with people today.

Amazing how something with an off switch, and that is completely optional, can't be avoided to the point where someone commits suicide.

This breeds Columbine type behavior

Back when we were in school, justice was resolved by situations like Anonymous 1:26 related. Unfortunately that doesn't happen anymore. With the internet, people are a lot more agressive and cruel. Additionally, the bullying towards a girl isn't physical, it's a lot more cruel. It's the insults and name-calling that tears her down.

I am with you Barry. I just watched that video and have no words. I don't know where to begin...

Horrifying

I just want to say:
Shunning people is so cruel. It still happens in school. Sometimes by "good christian kids that are seen as leaders in the school" Many see their judgement as being correct. After all that girl had sex with someone's boyfriend, had flashed on a webcam, and attempted suicide. So wouldn't we all want our kids to stay away from her.
That is the problem with judgement. None of us know what her life is like for her and the obstacles that she faces each day.
" There but for the grace of God, go I" As a former 7th grader, a promiscuous teen and now a protective godfearing mother, I am horrified at this girl's treatment. I pray that God will show me if there are ways that I am a part of this problem and help me be part of the solution on a daily basis.
