Proof positive that what goes around comes around. At the beginning of the 20th century we had the best mass transit system IN THE WORLD! Anyone from any small town could catch a train and go anywhere they wanted, some short round trips in one day. BUT NNOOOOOOO! we had to to throw this away so we could make a handfull of greedy bastards filthy rich selling automobiles, refining oil and selling gasoline! Now, finally someone wakes up and thinks, "well maybe that train system wasn't such a bad idea after all". And the majority of people run it in the ground because of the person who instigates the conversation. I hope you spend 8 hrs. a day in traffic jams like the one on 820 this morning. And don't start the crap about gov. subsidies, right-of-ways exploitation, etc. We give the energy companies WAY MORE in tax breaks. The public was duped into this auto idea and we're still drinking the coolaid after 100 years.
