Skippy, and you wondered how Doritos was gonna recoup the cost of the commercials.

Of course, the NFL prefers Visa. You'll need it to purchase concessions or at least fill out a credit app, you deadbeats.

I'm glad A-Rod and Cameron Dumbass were able to help Jerry out by buying a 13 dollar tub of popcorn.

Yep.... high... and I'd pay it in the drop of a hat if I had the chance for a face value ticket.

Speaking of Superbowl, I was outside the House of Blues in Dallas and saw Sheriff Walker there. He was with someone famous I guess because he and another guy in a cowboy hat were escorting some dude inside. They apparently had the "in" because I had to wait in line and they were pushed right in. Both of the men with Walker were in coat and tie. I watched for them when they left and Walker appeared from nowhere and when some dude came out, he said "are you ready" and they surounded the guy and off they went. I said hello to Walker and he said hi back, but he does not know me. He is a nice guy, and I am dying to know who he was guarding. Any clues Barry?

7:20 Why did you not ask him. I would have, he probably would have told you. Maybe he was just out for a drink and some fun

Anyone know the outcome of Decatur and Bridgeport Girls Basketball game? Just curious...

9:56 - The Decatur girls won. The score is posted on the Messenger Sports site. Though I supported The Sissies, I congratulate the Decatur girls on their victory. Two really good teams this year!!!

Concessions at Cowboys stadium, like any place else, will remain at the selling price as long as there are those who are DUMB enough to pay that price.
If I were a vendor and you were willing to pay $3.00 for a bag 0f $.50 chips or $10.. for a beer........I'd smile at your stupidity all the way to the bank.

Meh. About like the other prices I have paid/seen at sports and concerts the last few years.

The Bridgeport girls couldn't guard the pick and roll but the Bridgeport coach kept them in a man to man the whole game. Goofy.

i am pretty sure those prices are the same as they were during Cowboy games as well as the high school playoffs. not much different from anyother pro sports venue that i have been at.

And the people serving those expensive food are probably volunteers or get paid minimum wages. There's a sucker on every corner for crap like that. It's how America rolls.

most of concessions are run by groups trying to raise money for some project and they get a percent of the sales Texas Motor speedway concessions paid for a lot of things in Wise County took my volunteers and worked 5 years. Hard way to make cents on the dollar. They inventory every french fry cup nacho boat and so on and your money must be within 1%
