Sacrifice is measured by the one who makes it...your assumptions about the young woman's questions or thoughts are an insult to her and her husband. If you don't have first hand knowledge, then keep your "wondering" to yourself.

I have walked the Fields of Stone in Arlington National Cemetery. It is a feeling unlike any other.
Those who have laid down their lives deserve our thoughts & thanks more than just one day a year.

It is the same with the cemetary at Normandy.......what a sacrifice they paid..........what a gift we received.
We can't remember too much.....we can't honor too much!
Look lady, its time to move on.
And regrettably, we are preparing for another war (subject to interpretation) with Korea.
The media is at the command of the United States government.
And the sacrifice paid?
Our children's lives.
It is just so sad. No wonder the young woman lies down next to that grave.
And we can only wonder what her questions are about the sacrifice he made.
