But a random thought: Jessica has a new album coming out (as noted on the cover.) Since this cover is a great advertisement for the album, does the Jessica camp pay People magazine to put her on the cover? After all, wouldn't she pay to be on the cover?
Side note: We can look forward to next week's random letter to the editor: "I'm so happy that Jessica has finally found love. She's a beautiful girl who deserves happiness. - Beth A., Bentleyville, Ohio"

Someone needs to tell Tony to run away! This idiot and her father are both just using Tony in order to get publicity and advertise for her country album. I saw the video of the first song on CMT the other day. It is bad!!!

Give the girl a break!! She's a "dits" for sure, but a very pretty dits and hanging with Tony and then talking about it as much as possible is giving her a couple more notches up in the "class" column. Anything upward in that column for her is good!

Every time I'm unlucky enough to see Jessica Simpson perform, I am so totally embarrassed for her! She can't carry a tune. Maybe that is why she is so jelous of Carrie Underwood, who has the whole package.

Palin was all the news in Alaska a month ago for firing the DPS chief, allegedly for not firing her ex brother-in-law from his job as a highway patrolman. Then the Ted Stephens scandal broke and pushed her off the front page. She was mayor of Wasilla before being elected governor... plenty of executive experience.

Palin was also the one who was at the Governor's meeting over in Grapevine at the Gaylord when she went into labor. They got on an airplane and got home quick so that she could have the baby at home in Alaska.

I think McCain has "hit one out of of the park" with this VP choice. Sarah Palin is much more my idea of an American than Obama. I think she will play very well in Texas with women and conservatives to the extent that you can put Texas in the GOP column in January. Sic em' Sarahcuda.
