An off-duty Fort Worth police officer was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after a Burleson officer found him asleep behind the wheel of his marked patrol unit at a Burleson intersection Sunday.
I guess he didn't see the warning label on the box. Don't mix alcoholic beverages with your donuts, but if you must don't operate heavy machinery and/or drive.
Since he is pretty cute let's just give him a pre-trial diversion for 1 month. Of course there would be no fine, no community service, and his probation would be non reporting. Next case.
assuming its a first 175 days, for breach of the public trust be a good reminder for the other badge wearers that abuse their authority on who the really work for.
Since the U.S. Supreme Court has said in numerous opinions that Police don't have a duty to protect you if their motto and squad car say "to protect and serve" can you send them a letter accepting their offer and then sue them for breach of contract when your car gets broken into?
They ought to all drive mail jeeps and have to dress in pink feather hats.

Somehow I just don't feel bad for this guy.
that's what he gets...no morals or ethics !
DWI case could be a problem if he made no statements, did not do field sobriety tests, no breath or blood tests, etc.
However, cops usually have an obligation to cooperate, or be fired.
Wonder if he had alcoholic beverage odor on his breath? Hopefully no open containers.
I say he probably gets off and keeps his job. Yeah, he walks with a letter of apology from the boss.
barry, would you take his case? this kind of behavior burns my ass! good cops get a bad rap, because of idiots like this -
I SEEN HIM THAT NIGHT AT FRILLYS HE GAVE ME A RIDE IN HIS COP CAR TO GO PICK UP MORE BEER.
THE FAKE JOE DUTY
