up all night.............We have over 2 1/2 inches of rain, hail and now the river by my house is flooding. I talked to the Tzarrant County Water Board this morning and they told me that the river was at 6'11" and that it would crest on SUNDAY at 16'.....HOLY CRAP,,,,,,,,,,my cows will have to get a life jacket. On a serious note, I am going out now to move my cows to higher ground...

Silicone is right, it rained last night. Maybe the warnings were justified on the first storm since it had spawned a tornado earlier. However, we get squall line storms every spring and "it rains". The news media has overkilled on this stuff. If a tornado is on the ground, then tell us. BUT, quit telling me that "one is forming in the cloud over my town". That is stupid.

I blame the Democrats.

This RAB Democrat got 6" in my gage on the first pass and another 1 1/2" about 3am. That first reading seems too high. Maybe the wind blew it into the gage off my roof. In any case, I'll bet the lake starts pushing over the 836 full mark soon. Haven't seen any wind damage, yet.
