65 MPH?

Fox 4 News reported at on their 5:30 newscast that winds in Runaway Bay hit 65 mph within the last hour. Anyone confirm that?

Nope. We had a quick front with very dark sky blow thru. Rained really hard - for about 2 minutes. Trees danced around a bit but I'd estimate maximum winds at about 30 to 40. Not very scientific but I'll bet I'm closer than the guy saying 65mph.

10:01, who is "they"? Do you mean the wind? And what does "well we we're" mean? Do you see why you work at Pronto's?

I agree with ellis. I can't believe how many times the newspeople interrupted one of my favorite shows with messages of..."It's raining...a lot!" Just goes to show how low our media and "free press" have fallen. It's all about sensationalism--to heck with accuracy and truth.
