Nope. We had a quick front with very dark sky blow thru. Rained really hard - for about 2 minutes. Trees danced around a bit but I'd estimate maximum winds at about 30 to 40. Not very scientific but I'll bet I'm closer than the guy saying 65mph.
well we we're in pronto's where i work and the winds only blew like that for maybe 5 minutes. they were blowing the rain sideways. big deal. you choose to live in tornado alley and your worried about a little wibd..
I agree with ellis. I can't believe how many times the newspeople interrupted one of my favorite shows with messages of..."It's raining...a lot!" Just goes to show how low our media and "free press" have fallen. It's all about sensationalism--to heck with accuracy and truth.
