just saw that 15 of the 16 have been found alive. trying to get them out now.
What news channel are you watching? Everyone I have seen said 12 are alive, and one was found dead.
ONLY ONE SURVIVOR-As of 2 a.m. central time, initital reports indicating 12 miners were rescued were discovered false. International Coal Group issued a statement to the media indicating there is only one survivor, the other 11 were found dead. At 2:05, a fist fight broke out inside the church where the families held vigil-calling the mining company "liars", "hypocrites". The survivor is listed in serious condition, and is being transferred en route to West Virginia University Medical Center in Morgan Town.
So heartbreaking, my heart goes out to their families. I am so thankful that my loved ones work in a safer environment.
