Federal Plea

It seems like a pretty big story, but I'm not particularly interested in the plea of guilty to corruption charges by former Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff. (Although members of Congress are apparently getting a little nervous). I was more amused of this outfit that he showed up for court in. Uh, can you try not to look like a gangsta?

...yeah, gangster look - oh well, the guy knew he was going to attract the photo folks. Wonder how much that outfit set him back?

...and maybe his lawyer told him to dress that way?

..by golly he's not a bad lookin' fella'

:-)

There is no question this guy is guilty of a bunch of stuff (all the way to conspiracy in a murder). The only question is how many of the corrupt congressmen and aids he will be able to expose. Jack's going to jail for years and paying some $25 MILLION fine. Just what is he telling prosecutors in return for this "light" plea bargain? I just hope the victims include DeLay.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

......if all the corruption is exposed in Washington, what's next?

....O. J. Simpson for President?

I think we all suspect there is much "corruption" in congress. But by turning the light on these activities is going to reveal some pretty sleazy characters. And the party in power will hurt the most. And its leader (DeLay) is the biggest fish to be caught.
