Say Hello To The New Boss, Same As The Old Boss

Carole Keeton Strayhorn announced yesterday that she will run for Governor as an independent. Say hello to your next Governor (pictured). Maybe getting Kinky is a good idea.

Kinky for Governor! You may be aware of a quiet groundswell of Kinky supporters in Wise County. We are out here! If you are interested in attending a meeting in Wise County this month or just learning more, contact me, Claudene Griffith at 940-255-0526, or Justin Horton at 940-389-7633, or watch the Update for notification of meetings. Kinky will be joining all county meetings in a conference call later this month!

Disclaimer: We are not nuts, freaks, or potheads, just normal folks that think he can reclaim Texas from political correctness, work without PACs, resolve our border and school issues, and make us even prouder to be from the great state of Texas.

Kinky is my Governor.

It is truly tragic that Perry (Mr. Good Hair, No Brain) is the best the Republicans can offer. It is even more tragic that the Democrats have no one at all. So we are left with a couple of possibly competent Independents - who have no way of getting elected. I'm discouraged.

We could vote for...hmm...dang! we are screwed

I thought red-blooded Republicans disliked homosexuals. Why are you going to re-elect Perry then?

You know, granney may do better than we think. I'm so disgusted with Republicans and Democrats and think lots of others are too.

Our whole political system is nuts.

No wonder folks don't vote, though that is a cop out.

Or is it?

Hey, if a wrestler and a body-builder/actor can be governors, why not a musician/mystery author? If only, Strayhorn wasn't a spinmeister's Mom, (Scott McClellan - dumbya's press spokesman), she might get my vote, but I have to hold that against her for now. She should have taught her son better. Somehow, that makes me not trust her as much as I would want to, but I definitely will not vote for the Rick Man.

...3:17.....you make good points about the son being a Bushy man, but it is just politics.

....think I'll keep my eye on this old dame. We sure need somebody to shake up those idiots in Austin.

..course old Phil King could likely do it......

.....puke!

The question for all of us should be "How do we get the politicians and the politics out of the process?" What we have now is no better than the mafia - in fact, I think it's worse. Now, I AM thinking Kinky. Maybe we might just come for a visit Claudene - I'll keep myself posted, and, if I do show up, I will bring some really good appetizers....

...thinks he and she would do well in a hot tub together.
