I don't get it. Yes, she missing is important and very sad. But, what makes her more important than the other countless number of missing people? I don't get who decides why this person gets all the press coverage. Can anyone shed some light? And before her, who and why?
Because she is young, white, pretty, educated, and upper middle class. There are two tragedies here. One, that it happenened at all. Two, that you have to be young, white...etc. to get the press coverage.

Maybe they ought to look in Aruba. Young ladies get more publicity there.

At least this is an attractive white teacher who is in the news and did not have sex with a male student. This shows progress in our education system.
Unfortunately, we don't know what happened to her. Maybe it was a student who got a bad grade or maybe a parent of a flunked football player.
