State Representative Phil King of Weatherford says he will seek re-election to another term in the Texas Legislature. King made the announcement Tuesday. The 3 term lawmaker says he feels he is making a difference in Austin and wants to ask the voters of Parker and Wise Counties for another opportunity to serve.

Run against him if he's so bad. Don't just criticize, do something. You've got name recognition. Go for it!
If you court the education community, your a slam-dunk.
My greatest desire is that he draws a half-dozen opponents from his own party and never gets enough votes to get past single digits. He might then understand the kind of difference he is making.
RUN BARRY RUN!!!!!!
Making a difference? For whom? Certainly not his constituents in Wise and Parker Counties. He has been bought and paid for by SBC and the other communications companies and the boy toy of Tom Craddick. He voted himself a raise while ignoring the real issues like the tax issues and school finance. There is a reason Texas Monthly voted him one of the 10 worst legislators in Texas.
Yes, run Barry. I typically vote Republican but have voted Democrat, Independent and Libertarian at times. I don't think Phil's doing a bang up job but sure haven't seen anyone that brought more to the table. I'm sure a good blogger could make all our problems go away.
I still wish the anonymous folks would get new names. That's the most confusing bit of this whole thing.
I'm trying to come up with something as clever as Land O' Wise
Land o' Wise has yet to discern Barry's entertainment (lobbing written "grenades") from his true position and intellect on a host of subjects. (Go back and read some of his writings from his D.A. days.)
