"They Paved Paradise And Put Up A Parking Lot"

Or, in Decatur today, they are demolishing a church to put up a convenience store.

(Thanks, J, for the pics.)

The church did quite well in the sale of that property and has already built a new facility.

I don't believe in cults, so it doesn't matter to me.

Convenience stores are infinitely more useful than churches.

"highest and best use". yep.

Will the new convenience store have Starbucks Coffee and Krispy Kreme donuts? The Big Guy likes his morning pick-me up.

Just so I can keep my accounting straight for the rapture...

I need a list of the deacons/leadership so I can put their name on THAT list.

FYI....I already know the names, but humor me.

There was already a gigantic parking lot there.

I can't believe this. The Weather Channel just reported that 75 million people are in imminent danger from storms today, and this new store is news? We might lose, according to the Weather Channel, 75 million people.

Thank god (he-he-he) ... that's where I got married to my first wife ... shed her long ago ... glad to see the scene of the crime finally go away!

4:05 thank you very much for remembering what really happened ! Local and Federal law get crazy around Waco !

That was retribution for the government attacking innocent citizens.

4:18 - Mcveigh was as Christian as you are.

No, I think Paradise got a water system upgrade...

Thanks Obama!

McVeigh didn't kill near as many people as God did in the bible, but he did kill more than Satan.

This new convenience store will be another headache for the backed up traffic trying to exit HWY287 in front of the Allsups every morning, noon, and night. We take our life seriously just trying to get past all the in-out traffic at that location.
