There are no such things as assault rifles. They are defense rifles. Please quit drinking the Kool Aid. Adam Lanza steals some guns(against the law)and shoots and kills his mother(against the law)then takes the loaded weapons to a school(against the law)and then breaks into the school(against the law) and murders children and adults(against the law)and then commits suicide(against the law). I don't think another law will prevent things like this.

-We should allow anyone who shows up at a voting booth to vote, because fraudulent voters will just find a way to vote anyway. Why punish law-abiding voters because of a few fraudulent voters?
- Let’s not make any more laws restricting abortion rights, because women will have abortions regardless of the law. Why should my rights be infringed, because someone else abuses the procedure?
- We shouldn’t put any new restrictions on welfare recipients because a few will just find a way to abuse the system. Why should good families who’ve fallen on bad times through no fault of their own who are desperately trying to work not get any government aid because of a few welfare queens?
And here's my favorite, Anon at 12:07 PM, if you stand by your logic of “gun laws don’t prevent gun crime so we shouldn’t make any new laws,” I’ll make you this deal: I’ll agree that new gun laws won’t prevent gun crimes, gun-related deaths or people from illegally obtaining guns; if you agree that drug laws don’t prevent drug crimes, drug-related deaths or people from obtaining drugs.

Not a lot, a little. Because it's fun to use logic and your own Natty-Light arguments to prove you wrong. Oops...there goes a little more.
