Have a friends whose daughter is on that ship. She has told some horrible stories about the conditions. Said a dr. described it as a petri dish.

Try doing a 90 day patrol when your main fresh water condenser shuts down and you lose 3 out of 4 engines. Sea showers every 4th day and don't flush till it's full for 5 weeks.

We took to using mop buckets on the fantail. Less hassle.

Semper paratus.

It's time to use the life boats and bring in the Coast Guard and Navy.

Heck, there's enough offshore platform transports around to help out.

My Wife, her mother, aunt and cousin were on that ship, the cruise right before this one. She told me that the propellers were messing up on the way back in to Galveston then. Glad she didn't book her cruise a week later.

This is all due to global warming and/or climate change. You heard it here first. Next there will be a law banning cruise ships.

"Are you sure that's baked Alaska?" asked the stranded passenger.

This has to be Bush's fault, right/

Looking at the Pictures. Seems a few of them could do with some onion sandwiches, and a few less all you can eat buffet's.
I know not politically correct. But spend a few months in India, that cruise liner looks way better than most of the country.

We just finished two weeks (1 week back-to-back)on Crown Princess and I decided that I would have nothing to do with that Carnival ship when I saw it docked next to us in Cozumel (it has NO balconies)!
During our first week a couple from Houston said they love Carnival with their party ship atmosphere and dining room personnel dancing on the tables!
We will never have anything to do with Carnival cruise ships although Carnival Corporate owns Princess, Cunard, etc.!
We of course had sailed with Captain Andy Procter on Princess before our current Crown sailings and enjoyed our two luncheons with him in their exclusive Most Traveled Passenger function in the Sabatini venue!

What a freaking nightmare. Barry - don't you think Carnival should be doing like "hella more" to get these passengers off there and home? Seems like a mediocre response to me. Plaintiff's lawyer's dream cruise.
